Course Structure

The MBA programme is two-year full time with 28 courses (totaling 128 credits) divided into four semesters. The 28 courses comprise 20 compulsory courses, 8 electives, and project work for 8 weeks.

The courses are distributed among the semesters in the following manner:

·        ♦ First Semester:8 Compulsory Courses (32 credits)

         ♦ Second Semester:8 Compulsory Courses (32 credits)

·        ♦ Third Semester:2 compulsory, 4 Electives, Project (32 credits)

·        ♦ Fourth Semester:2 Compulsory, 4 Electives, Viva Voce (32 credits)

Each semester comprises 5 months (21 weeks) approx. with the following break-up: 16
weeks of class work, 2 weeks for assignment/presentation, 1week preparatory leave, 2 weeks for examinations.

Note: Each Student should take THREE MAJOR Specialisation papers from any one group and ONE MINOR specialisation paper from any other groups (for Third and Fourth Semesters). All students can take only one paper as MINOR specialisation from any groups (Apart from the Major Specialisation group) in both the Third and Fourth Semesters. Electives will be offered subject to minimum enrolment of five students in a particular specialisation.
