Heritage Business School (HBS) has been inculcating the spirit of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) among students from the very first semester of the 4-Semester MBA Program.
Students of HBS have been organising Slum Education Camps, Blood Donation Camps, Health Check-Up Camps for the underprivileged on a regular basis.
In line with this, during the E-Week from February 20-27, 2016 observed by the Heritage Group of Institutions in association with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), the CSR activities of HBS students included the following:-
a) Cleaning the environment as a part of the Prime Minister’s “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” – The students, armed with sweeping & cleaning devices, formed groups and physically cleaned the surroundings areas on a Sunday.
b) Development of Special Brand of Chocolates for Cancer patients.
c) Imparting Entrepreneurship skills to women Entrepreneurs in the field of home-made products – their manufacture & distribution.
d) Conducting games and activities among the economically underprivileged students of “Suryakiran” a school run by the Heritage Group of Institutions for the economically underprivileged students of the locality. Prizes were awarded by the students to the children out of their own funds.
e) Collection of used clothes from the Heritage Fraternity and distributing them among poor and needy villagers of 16 villages in the neighbourhood of HBS.
