Prof.(Dr.) K.K. Chaudhuri
Director, Heritage Business School

Prof. K. K. Chaudhuri, M.Sc. Ph.D in Anthropology from University of Calcutta. Professional training from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai),Council of Social Development (New Delhi),Institute of Directors (New Delhi),The World Bank (New Delhi).


Prof. Chaudhuri is currently the Director of Heritage Business School. He has held several responsible positions in the field of management education. He was the Director of Army Institute of Management, Kolkata and Dean of Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata.

He has conducted World Bank Projects for NTPC, Coal India, National Highways, Asian Development Bank Project for Kolkata Municipal Corporation. He was Independent Director of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, Ministry of Railways, MSTC, Ministry of Steel, Govt of India and currently an Independent Director of three Private Sector Industries. He has also supervised eight Ph.D. Students of University of Calcutta, MAKAUT and NSOU.


On academic assignment, he has delivered lectures at State University of New York, Connecticut Business School, University of Akron (Ohio), Centenary College (Louisiana), Chuo University (Tokyo), Uppsala University (Sweden).


He was also a columnist of The Times of India, Economic Times and Statesman. He has authored two books, two monographs and more than 100 papers

He has conducted MDPs for leading Public and Private Sector Industries like ONGC, Indian Oil, SAIL, NTPC, Coal India, Airports Authority, GRSE, Indian Ports, NALCO, Reckitt Benckiser, HLL, Birla Corporation, Jayashree Textiles and CESC


A Fellow of National Institute of Personnel Management, he was the Editor-in-Chief of Personnel Today (NIPM).
